Tuesday Jul 24, 2018
This is a live stream and recording of our Tuesday evening Dhamma class from Cross River Meditation Center in Frenchtown, New Jersey on July 24, 2018. The stream begins every Tuesday at 7:15 PM Eastern US time.
My Dhamma talk and our sangha discussion will be on the Samadhi Sutta. The Samadhi Sutta teaches the proper use of Shamatha-Vipassana meditation practice within the broader framework of the Eightfold Path.
“And how does the development of concentration lead to developing the cessation of craving, aversion, and delusion? As concentration deepens one remains attentive to the arising and passing away of The Five Clinging Aggregates.” (Samadhi Sutta)

Each Tuesday class will have a twenty-minute Shamatha-Vipassana meditation followed by my Dhamma talk and Sangha discussion and conclude with Metta intentional meditation.
