This is a live stream and recording of our Saturday morning Dhamma class from Cross River Meditation Center in Frenchtown, New Jersey on July 21, 2018. The stream begins every Saturday at 8:30 AM Eastern US time.
My Dhamma talk and our sangha discussion will be on the Fire Discourse. About one month after the Buddha's first two discourses, he presented The Fire Discourse to approximately 1,000 followers. Upon hearing this short discourse, most of those in attendance awakened.
"Monks, the All is aflame. What All is aflame? The eye is aflame. Forms are aflame. Consciousness at the eye is aflame. Contact at the eye is aflame. And whatever there is that arises in dependence on contact at the eye - experienced as pleasure, pain or neither-pleasure-nor-pain - that too is aflame.” (Fire Discourse)

Each Saturday class will have a thirty-minute Shamatha-Vipassana meditation followed by my Dhamma talk and Sangha discussion and conclude with Metta intentional meditation.
